Who are Cuvva?

Cuvva is a London-based fintech start-up revolutionising the insurance industry. Their app offers car insurance over flexible time periods. They closed their £15million series A in December 2019.

Why did you work with Move in the first place?
“I was looking for a solution that would integrate fully into our way of working, that had similar values and ways of working, but also needed to have start-up high growth experience, add on to that the fact they were priced competitively it was a no brainer”

What specific hiring challenges were Cuvva facing?
“We had been conservative on hiring so had a back log of roles to fill, no established People & Talent team and very little time to get resources in place. Whilst we needed to hire a number of roles quickly, we then needed to slow it down before we pick it back up again”

“The last thing i needed was to hire a perm in house team who would get bored and leave or have nothing to do during the very slow months,
